Week 25 comes to a close on Sunday evening with three games which are all about teams chasing playoff places, or seeing in the post-season.
Cardiff Devils play their first match of the weekend at home to Coventry with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats this week. The Devils were beaten in Dundee on Wednesday, while the Blaze went down to Guildford last night. Cardiff are already assured of a playoff place, and are unlikely to finish lower than third, plus will also have at least half an eye on their Premier Sports Challenge cup Final next week.

After an excellent shutout win in Manchester on Saturday, Fife Flyers return home with the possibility of leapfrogging the Storm into ninth if they can win tonight. The Flyers have been bottom for the vast majority of the season but have clawed their way back to within touch of the Storm thanks to good recent results. They still trail the playoffs by some eight points, however, with only 12 games left to play after tonight.

Finally, Guildford return to home ice after breaking a four-game losing streak with an excellent 5-1 win in Coventry on Saturday night. They face a Nottingham side that took an overtime win in Fife midweek, and has now won three of it's last five games. The Panthers are trying to make sure they finish no lower than fourth with three teams edging closer to them in the standings. Guildford are hoping to put some daylight between them and those chasing a playoff place after slipping to eighth in recent weeks.
