Cardiff Devils came back from two goals down against Glasgow Clan again to record a 4-2 win at a sold-out Ice Arena Wales on Friday night.
Match Jones' blast from the point put Clan ahead on the powerplay shorthanded at 8:35, with Mathieu Roy then finding the net, shortly off a faceoff, with one second left in the period to make it 2-0.
Josh Batch got the Devils on the board 1:49 into period two after some sustained pressure from the hosts, and just past the 30-minute mark they were level when Trevor Cox through a puck on net that deceived Shane Starrett. Cox then turned provider with a patient pass to the on-rushing Cole Sanford to make it 3-2 to the Devils exactly three minutes later and complete the turnaround.
Jake Coughler pounced on a loose puck in the neutral zone and used defenseman as a screen to wrist past Starrett at 50:27 which was to be the game's final goal.
