Manchester Storm host Fife Flyers in a battle of the teams placed ninth and tenth outside the playoff places.
This Saturday night fixture is, again, one that neither can really afford to lose. Manchester are only two points off the playoffs but have played three games more than Coventry above them, but with a final weekend series with Guildford, who are only four ahead on level games, the Storm still have hope of making the post-season.
Fife, on the other hand, are starting to run out of runway heading into their final nine games of the season. The Flyers can only reach a possible 49 points - four teams have already got at least that many, while the next three are five, seven and eight away from that total respectively.
Todd Dutiaume's team won the last meeting between the teams in Manchester 3-0, but were then beaten in overtime the following night.
