Janne Kivilahti hit four goals and assisted on two others to grab himself a six-point night in Coventry Blaze's 7-2 home win over Dundee - the second night in a row that the Stars shipped seven goals.

The Finn scored both of the hosts' first-period goals, statting at 11:01 with a slapshot on the weak side of the powerplay. He poked home a rebound from Nathaneal Halbert's blue line effort to double the lead at 18:48.

Luke Ferrara scored almost a carbon copy of the Blaze's opener to make it 3-0 at 23:04, before Kivilahti then hit two in 68 seconds - two powerplay one-timers from an almost identical spot putting the Blaze 5-0 and giving him four on the night.

Dundee called a timeout and reacted almost instantly through former Blaze man Dillon Lawrence, while Kalvis Ozols' own rocket on a two-man advantage brought the score back to 5-2.

Evan Bloodoff beat Adam Morrison five-hole to make 6-2 4:51 into period three, while Dane Gibson patiently converted a loose puck at 50:39 for the game's final goal.
