Fans predict outcome of final three weeks
Almost 72% of fans think Belfast will have another trophy this month
Fans from across the Premier Sports Elite League have made their predictions as to what they think will happen in the final three weeks of the 2021/22 regular season.
Over 4,000 votes were cast across seven different polls dealing with both the league title race and playoff places. Here's how the results turned out:
By a vote of 71.9% to 28.1%, fans think that Belfast will take the league title. The Giants currently lead the table but only by virtue of a tie-break if Sheffield won their game in hand.
Fans have predicted that Coventry, Glasgow, Dundee and Guildford will take the final four playoff places. They were most confident about Coventry's chances (79.7%), with Guildford coming in with the lowest certainty (66.9%).
Only 23.1% of voters think that Manchester will be able to overturn the four-point gap and end in the playoffs, while just over 10% think Fife will climb into the top eight.
How it all plays out, however, is a very different question!
