Tonight: Storm entering last chance saloon in Glasgow

Manchester Storm head to Glasgow knowing that they’ll likely need to pick up something to keep their chances of a playoff place alive.

Storm are five points off the top eight with four games to play and were they to lose and Guildford win, Ryan Finnerty’s team would be mathematically eliminated from reaching the post-season. Storm have two wins from their last five games.

Clan need to be slightly careful going into their final five fixtures. While they have a game in hand on the Storm, a loss here would leave them only three points ahead of dropping out of the playoffs altogether. Since starting their league campaign in November, Clan have been in the top eight for the vast majority of the season.

Head Coach Malcolm Cameron welcomed having a week’s break after losing five games on the spin. Storm have not won in Braehead since a shutout victory in February 2020.
