Nottingham Panthers have completed the signing of Canadian forward Julian Talbot.
The 34-year-old joins the Panthers from Crimmitschau in the DEL2, where he has seven points in as many games. Talbot headed to Europe in 2011, and went on to spend six seasons with Eisbären Berlin where he totalled over 300 games and 200 points in the DEL. A season in the EBEL with the KAC returned 21 points in 59 games, before spending last season in Crimmitschau and scoring 54 points.
Talbot has significant European experience, with 27 Champions Hockey League games over his spells in the Austrian and German top flights. Prior to crossing the Atlantic, he spent four seasons in the AHL.
