Opening rosters confirmed for nine teams
Number of changes remaining set for each team
The initial registration deadline for the nine teams playing on the opening weekend of the 2022/23 Premier Sports Elite League season passed on Tuesday evening.
Teams are restricted to a maximum of 20 non-homegrown players (not including Injured Reserve) in a single season. They have registered the following number of non-homegrown players for their opening rosters:
- Cardiff: 14 non-homegrown players, therefore 6 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Coventry: 14 non-homegrown players, therefore 6 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Dundee: 14 non-homegrown players, therefore 6 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Fife: 13 non-homegrown players, therefore 7 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Glasgow: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Guildford: 16 non-homegrown players, therefore 4 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Manchester: 14 non-homegrown players, therefore 6 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Nottingham: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining
- Sheffield: 15 non-homegrown players, therefore 5 non-homegrown roster places remaining (Mason Mitchell has been placed on Injured Reserve with Tomas Pitule registered as IR Cover )
Belfast Giants, due to taking part in the Champions Hockey League, must register their initial EIHL roster next week.
