Tonight: Stars welcome Panthers to Dundee

Dundee Stars host Nottingham Panthers this evening in Premier Sports Elite League action at the Dundee Ice Arena.

While the sides have met in Nottingham already this season, it is the first time that they will face each other back in Dundee since Omar Pacha left his role as the Stars Head Coach to take up the position of CEO at the Panthers.

Both teams have made indifferent starts to the season. The Stars came out of a home double against Belfast and Sheffield last weekend with two losses, 12 goals conceded, and just one scored. While they've qualified for the next round of the cup, the Stats have just one league point from five games.

Panthers, meanwhile, were beaten 5-1 in Cardiff last Friday before returning home to a 3-1 defeat against Fife. Gary Graham's team have four points from six league starts, and one overtime win from three games in the cup.
