Ruopp wins it late for Giants

Belfast Giants score a late shorthanded goal to beat Fife Flyers by the odd goal in Fife in Kirkclady, with three goals coming inside the final ten minutes of the game.
Brayden Sherbinin opened the scoring with his first league goal of the season, crashing a slapshot past Peyton Jones from the point with 2:10 played - a lead the Flyers held into the first intermission.
Mark Cooper tied the game up for Belfast at 25:41 in the second period - Ciaran Long passing the puck across the ice and Cooper blasted the puck past Shane Owen to level things.
Belfast took the lead inside the final ten minutes with Darik Angeli tipping a shot past Owen to make it 2-1 at at 52:13. The flyers rallied and tied the game up late on the powerplay with Christian Hausinger's quick wrister bringing them back onto level terms at 56:19.
The Flyers, however, were responsible for their own undoing as they conceded shorthanded with 1:45 left. which allowed David Gilbert to set up Sam Ruopp to finish at the far post, off a deflection from the defenseman, to win it for the Giants.
