Clan finally get better of Stars

Glasgow got their first win against Dundee this season thanks to a 3-2 home victory – a result that is the Stars’ first road loss of the season in Scotland.
Dundee took the lead less than five minutes into the game – the familiar sight of Kevin Dufour racing away on a breakaway and slotting home opened the scoring at 4:57.
That lead was held by the Stars into the first intermission before they were undone by three Clan goals in 90 seconds. Jordan Heywood started things off at 25:15 with a shot Stars’ netminder Alex Leclerc was visibly disappointed he didn’t manage to hold. Mikael Lidhammer then beat Leclerc on a breakaway 19 seconds later, before Travis Ehrhardt was given too much time and space to pick his spot from the point at 26:42. Quite a turnaround from the home side, after which Stars’ coach Omar Pacha called a timeout.
Dundee made the final minutes a tight affair as they pulled the game back to 3-2 with 4:35 to go – Dufour’s feed for Colton Kroeker to get them back to within one. However, despite pulling Leclerc for the extra attacker, the Stars couldn’t beat Patrick Killeen one final time and the Clan held on for the win.
