Four league games take place across the UK in the 2022/23 Viaplay Elite League season on Saturday night with eight teams in action.
Cardiff Devils are home again when they face Dundee Stars from 7pm. The Welsh side were beaten 5-2 on their own ice by Sheffield in the cup midweek as they crashed out in the Quarter-Finals. Likewise, Dundee Stars were also knocked out on Wednesday night but their defeat was a more dramatic shootout loss to local rivals Fife. Cardiff were unbeaten in four before losing to Nottingham last Sunday, while Dundee have not won since beating Glasgow on 26 November. In the two meetings between the teams this season, one at each rink, the home side has won by two goals.

Sheffield Steelers are in Glasgow to face the Clan for the second time in successive weeks and will be hoping for a repeat performance. The third-placed team in the standings beat the basement team 7-1 last weekend and are four games unbeaten in all competitions. Clan have lost their last three straight games since winning in Fife at the start of December. This is the Steelers' final trip of the season to Glasgow as they look to make it a clean sweep in the Clan's building.

Manchester Storm and Belfast Giants meet at the Storm Shelter a fortnight after Storm left Belfast with two wins during a weekend double header. The sides will only meet once this weekend, but both are looking to get back to winning ways. Storm's four-game winning run came to a crashing end with a 9-0 defeat in Coventry on Sunday while Belfast, who narrowly beat Dundee on the same day, were beaten in Nottingham midweek in cup action. The Giants left Manchester with a 5-2 win on their only other visit earlier this season.

Fife Flyers are looking to make it 4&0 against Nottingham Panthers when they meet in Kirkcaldy tonight. The Scottish side have won twice in Nottingham this season and once at home and go into this game off the back of Wednesday's dramatic penalty shot win over Dundee in the cup which sent them into the Semi-Finals for the first time in their history. That was the Flyers' first win since beating the Panthers on 2 December. Nottingham, meanwhile, came from two goals down to beat Belfast in the cup on Thursday and have now won two straight games. The teams will meet again tomorrow in Nottingham.
