Glasgow Clan went back to the top of the Elite League table thanks to three goals in just under for minutes to earn a 'come from behind' win against Scottish rivals Fife Flyers.
Matt Beca signalled his return to the Clan line-up in the best possible way, needing only 90 seconds to score!
Matt Pufahl’s shot deflected in off the returning forward to give the Clan the lead. That lead that the Clan carried into the next period was washed out by Danick Gauthier’s hard work coming to fruition at 28:49 to make it 1-1 - but the game was to spring into life in the final period.
Fife shocked most of the almost 3,500 crowd at intu Braehead when Kyle Just gave them the lead with just over eleven minutes to play - only for Mikael Lidhammar to tie things up again some five minutes later. At 54:47, under two minutes after the scores were levelled, Nolan LaPorte put the Clan back in front, with Chad Rau then making it 4-2 at 56:31. Linden Springer sealed the win on the empty net with 82 seconds remaining.
