We're in for a big night in the Viaplay Elite League this Saturday evening with a full schedule of five games ready for you.
Leaders Guildford Flames head to Belfast to face the Giants in a huge clash at the top of the table. The Flames haven't lost in Belfast this season but face a Giants side that eliminated them from the Challenge Cup last week before going on to win both games in a double-header against Sheffield. The Giants start the weekend six points off top spot. Guildford have lost only six games in regulation this season from 36 played in the league.

Second-placed Cardiff Devils head to Coventry as they look to keep up the pace on the Flames. The Devils are four points off top spot and face a Blaze team sandwiched in fifth - 14 points safe from dropping any lower, but now eight points away from climbing any higher.

Manchester continue their Scottish road trip in Dundee 24 hours after being defeated in Fife. That result left Storm just two points ahead of the Flyers and with only a three-point cushion above teams chasing the playoffs. Dundee go into their weekend five points off the pace for a place in the post-season.

It's a Scottish derby in Glasgow with Clan hosting Fife Flyers at Braehead Arena. This is a meeting between the sides placed eighth and ninth - the Flyers having the one-point advantage and occupying the last playoff spot after Friday's win over Manchester. With Clan having played two games more, it’s a very important game in the race for the playoffs.

Finally in Nottingham, the Panthers host rivals Sheffield looking for their first league win against the Steelers this season. The Panthers have lost all four meetings so far, although did pick up a point in a shootout loss in Corey Neilson's first game back. Sheffield lost three games last week as they slipped to third in the table.
