Great Britain begin their 2023 IIHF World Championships Division 1A campaign this Saturday night at 7.30pm, hoping that home-ice advantage will see them promoted back to the Elite Group for 2024.
After two midweek victories over Hungary, GB will face off against South Korea in their first game at the Motorpoint Arena. Korea lost a pair of warm-up games to Kazakhstan prior to heading to Nottingham, while only logging one victory at last year's Division 1A tournament in Ljubljana. GB came out 3-2 winners when the teams last met in 2015.
