Forbes heads home to Glasgow

Scottish utility player Alex Forbes has signed with Glasgow Clan for the 2023/24 season. 

The Elgin-born 26-year-old has spent the past six seasons in the Elite League, making his debut with MK Lightning and spending the next five years with Coventry Blaze. 

"I’m extremely excited to join the Glasgow Clan," he said. "It’s a team I’ve always wanted to play for so when the opportunity came along, it was hard to say no to.

"It was a good couple of weeks talking to the club and to get something done so I’m looking forward to getting back to Glasgow and going to war with my new team-mates every week. I wanted to join the Clan because the city is great, the fans are amazing and whenever I visited in the past, Braehead Arena was one of my favourite rinks to play in.

"There was always a buzz about the place and I’m more than sure it will be the same next season. As fans say, the Clan is massive."
