Panthers add forward Welsh

Nottingham Panthers' next signing for the 2023/24 season is forward Tyler Welsh.
The 26-year-old arrives from Mulhouse where he scored a point per game in the Ligue Magnus last season - 12 goals and 24 assists in 36 regular season games. Prior to arriving in Europe, Welsh spent four seasons at Yale University in the NCAA followed by a further season with Long Island University. He ended his college career with 64 points in 120 games.
Panthers Head Coach, Jonathan Paredes, said: "Tyler has a super high compete every shift and has good speed.
"He is a guy who never stops working, great vision and is a guy that is extremely reliable. He will fit into our team very well."
Welsh added: "The style of hockey I play I think will suit us and I am looking to build off last year.
"Nottingham is looking to return to the top end of the standings and I am excited to be part of that."
