Dudek back for Blaze

Forward J.D. Dudek's impressive half-season stint in Coventry has seen him rewarded with a deal back at the Blaze for the 2023/24 season.

The 27-year-old joined Danny Stewart's team in December 2022 and went on to hit nine goals and assist on nine others in 29 EIHL games for the club. He began the season in Sweden.

“J.D. came in last year and bought in straight away. He played centre for us, but can play wing too, and with his skill and skating, he can play a bigger role for us next year," explained Stewart. "His production was very good considering it all came from five-on-five play. He can play up and down the line-up in different spots and that’s important in our league with less movement on rosters. We are excited to get him back.”
