Panthers confirm arrival of Roy

Nottingham Panthers confirmed the signing of Hugo Roy on Wednesday evening.

The 25-year-old Canadian arrives after scoring 18 goals and adding 26 assists in the ECHL last season. In five seasons in the coast, Roy totalled 122 points in 209 regular season appearances. 

"Hugo has exceptional speed and work ethic He competes hard in all situations and we feel he’s a player that will be bringing something to the game in a positive way even when he’s not on the scoresheet," commented Panthers Head Coach Jonathan Paredes.

"He’s a player that has really developed his offensive game in the past few years and we feel we are getting him at a great time in his career."
