Goodwin lands in Belfast

Giants sign American forward

Belfast Giants have moved quickly to add to their attacking options with the signing of forward David Goodwin.

the American began this season with Mora IK of Sweden, scoring three goals in 11 games. He spent the past two seasons in Finland's top flight at SaiPa, with a return of 61 points in 130 starts.

“We are still within striking distance of first place though we cannot continue in our current run of form. We are lacking offence right now and it is important for us to address it,” said Head Coach Adam Keefe. “Once we knew David was available, we wanted to bring him to Belfast. He will add quality and speed to our offense. We have to move forward and get back to work right away with important games ahead.”
