The Elite Ice Hockey League is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Brooks as its new Head of Commercial Operations.
Mark brings over 14 years of commercial, marketing and communications experience and joins the Elite League from Ulster Rugby, who compete in the United Rugby Championship and Champions Cup, where he was Sponsorship Manager having previously served as Sponsorship & Partnership Manager for the Odyssey Trust, owners of the Belfast Giants & SSE Arena.

During his time at the Giants, Mark led successful initiatives to grow commercial revenues and was responsible for commercial, communications and marketing functions and strategies while overseeing media relations, website editorial, marketing, social media and sponsorship efforts.
Tony Smith, Elite League Chairman, commented: "The Elite League board and I are delighted to appoint Mark as our new Head of Commercial Operations.
"We are excited by the potential of the league, thanks to the backing that the fanbase gives our 10 members teams. Mark brings a wealth of experience of hockey in the UK to the job, due to his long involvement with the Giants and the league itself.
"Mark will play a key role in growing our commercial revenues and maintaining the strong bond that our fans have with the Elite League and our partners have with them."
