New Fife Flyers Head Coach Tom Cooler has continued his roster building for the 2023/24 season with the addition of two Swedish forwards.
30-year-old Johan Eriksson is no stranger to the Elite League having started last season in Guildford (18 games, 11 points, and then going on to play 38 for Scottish rivals Dundee Stars for the return of 30 points.
"Johan is a proven scorer. He is big and strong and looking to improve his offensive totals from last year," said Coolen. He has been working hard all summer and is ready to go."
New to the league will be namesake Anthon, who will play only his second-ever season outside of his homeland. Coming in after a year split between the SHL and HockeyAllsvenskan, the 28-year-old also spent a year in Katowice in 2021/22. In total, he has played over 200 games in Sweden's second tier over six seasons.
"Anthon Eriksson is a big, strong winger with experience at the highest level in Sweden. He plays with passion and skill. He will win battles on the ice and win the hearts of the fans in Fife," added Coolen.
