Panthers shutout Clan in Glasgow

Nottingham Panthers moved clear in fifth place in the league thanks to a three-goal shutout win in Glasgow.

After a scoreless opening period, Brett Bulmer got the only goal of the middle session on the powerplay as he wristed in from the slot at 31:29.

A quick counter-attack move from the Panthers saw Dylan Malmquist set up Julian Talbot for the second goal of the game and make it 2-0 44:53, before Jake Hansen converted a rebound from Sam Herr’s shot to make it three under two minutes later.

Kevin Carr made 27 saves en route to his shutout.
