It's Challenge Cup 2024 Final Day!
This Wednesday evening, Sheffield Steelers host Guildford Flames in the final from 7.30pm to decide who'll win the first trophy of the season.
The Steelers have a perfect record so far in this season's competition, having not only not dropped a point, but have also won every game in regulation. They are one more win away from a perfect run to the 2024 title as they look for their first trophy since 2020. In league play, the Steelers have an 11-point lead at the top of the standings, but have lost two of their last three home games.
Guildford are in only their second-ever Elite League final as they search for their first EIHL silverware. Their path to the final was a little more complicated, coming through as the fifth overall seeds after the group stage, but knock-out wins over Fife and Glasgow saw them through to tonight's game.
The final is a sold-out event, with over 9,000 fans set to see it happen at the Utilita Arena!
If you're not one of them, the only other way to watch is live on Viaplay from 7.15pm. Join Aaron Murphy and Paul Adey as for exclusive coverage. You can subscribe for a special offer of £9.99 using promo code "EIHL" at viaplay.com.
