Manchester Storm made it a four-point weekend with a 3-2 road win in Glasgow, althoguh were made to work by Clan who almost fought back from three goals down. 3,515 fans were in attendance at Braehead Arena.
Mitchell Martan scored the only goal of the opening period, tipping Chase Harrison's shot past Antti Karjalainen in close with 4:24 played.
The Storm then extended that lead in period two. Brice was again the scorer, this time on the 25-minute mark, capitalising on a slip from Reece Kelly to skate in on Karjalainen and finish five-hole. Tyler Hinam finished off a Cam Critchlow feed shorthanded to put the visitors three ahead with only 29:21 played.
It looked as if that would be the lead the Storm took into the second intermission, but two moments of brilliance from Charlie Combs saw him beat Evan Weninger 41 seconds apart to bring Clan back to within one heading into the third period.
Clan pushed hard in the final period but couldn't beat Weninger again, who backstopped the visitors to a win that moved them three points clear in fourth place.
