Four games bring Week 3 of the 2024/25 season to a close across Sunday, with Cup fixtures for all eight teams.
It's back to Cup action for Dundee Stars after Saturday's home loss to Manchester in the League, with Belfast Giants visiting the Dundee Ice Arena. The Giants have yet to drop a point so far this season, and currently top Group B with a one-point gap over the Stars. The sides met last week in Belfast and needed overtime to separate them.

Fife Flyers return home after a heavy defeat in Cardiff to face Scottish rivals Glasgow. Clan have yet to play a home game due to repair works to Braehead Arena's ice plant, and are also the only team in the Elite League yet to pick up a point this season. Fife find themselves two points outside of advancing to the next stage of Cup, although at a very early stage. The Flyers won 4-3 when the teams met on opening weekend.

Defending grand slam champions Sheffield Steelers began defence of their Cup title with a home win over Guildford on Saturday and head into Coventry aiming to make it a perfect start to domestic competition. A win at the Skydome would extend the Steelers' win steak, including CHL, to five games. The Blaze beat Glasgow to start their League campaign last weekend, but were narrowly beaten 3-2 in Nottingham when they kicked off Cup fixtures on Saturday.

If Guildford Flames want to have any chance of repeating last season's run to the Cup final, they'll need to start picking up victories quickly. The Flames have already played five of their 10 group stage fixtures, and have picked up just one win to date over Manchester. A four-goal defeat in Sheffield on Saturday didn't help their cause. The Panthers, under new head coach Danny Stewart, have yet to lose this season with three straight Cup wins.
