Devils take slender lead from Belfast

Cardiff Devils will start with the narrowest of advantages when they host Belfast Giants on Wednesday 18 December at the Viola Arena.

Joey Martin scored the lone goal of the game with a well-placed shot at 14:25 just after a Devils' powerplay had ended. 

Ben Bowns made 38 saves on the way to his shutout, a blanking that means Belfast have now failed to score at home in six straight periods.
