Week 6: Steelers return to Europe

Week 6 in the Elite ice Hockey League sees Sheffield Steelers back in Champions Hockey League action, midweek action in Kirkcaldy, and eight fixtures across the weekend.
The Steelers head to Zurich for Game Day 5 of their CHL campaign on Tuesday. With incredible results so far, Aaron Fox's team head into the last two rounds of the league phase with a more than realistic shot at making the last 16. A win in either of their two final fixtures is likely to see the Steelers through, depending on results elsewhere.
Wednesday sees Fife Flyers play their only home midweek game of the season. Belfast Giants are the visitors to Fife Ice Arena, leading Group B of the Challenge Cup with an unbeaten record from four games.
The weekend's action starts on Friday in Cardiff. In a quirk, the Flyers will be the visitors giving them then the rest of the weekend off - a break Tom Coolen and his team will doubtless be grateful for. On the flip side, the Devils will play a 3-in-3 with a visit to Nottingham the following night before returning home to face Dundee on Sunday. Dundee will spend the weekend on the road, playing in Guildford and then heading to Cardiff to double up on what are their two longest trips in the league season.
Elsewhere on Saturday night, Sheffield return to domestic action in Manchester, while Glasgow host Belfast. The Steelers head into Coventry on Sunday, while the Giants and Clan do it all again but in Belfast.
