Morrow fined for Roughing

Storm defenseman receives fine

On Friday night in Manchester, Storm forward #70 Joe Morrow was assessed a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct for Roughing.

After an earlier incident involving Flames Catenacci, whilst down on the ice, Flames #16 Jack Jacome goes out of his way to verbally attack Morrow. After doing so, Jacome returns to the play. Storm’s Morrow then skates the length of the ice to rejoin the play.

Once the play is blown dead, Jacome again turns his attention to Morrow who is skating over the blueline. Morrow, who doesn’t have both hands on his stick, makes a forceful strike to Jacome in the high chest area.

To Summarise:

  • This is Roughing
  • Forceful strike to the upper chest area

Effective immediately, Manchester Storm #70 Joe Morrow is fined.
