A full schedule awaits us on Saturday night in Week 13 of the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey Season.

Third-placed Guildford Flames host second-placed Coventry Blaze in the day’s first game, getting under way at 6pm. The Blaze head to Surrey having won four straight games, while the Flames have won four of their last five games. Guildford will be strengthened on their blue line by Sam Jones who is cleared to play this weekend.

In Dundee at 7pm, the Stars welcome Belfast Giants to Tayside for the third time this season, but first in league play. The Stars ended a three-game loss streak with an excellent 4-2 win In Sheffield last Sunday, while the Giants had picked up five points out of their last six games until defeat in Glasgow on Friday night.

League leaders Cardiff Devils head to eighth-placed Manchester Storm after an excellent midweek win over Sheffield Steelers midweek. That victory put the Devils five points clear at the top of the table, although they have played more games than everyone else in the league. At the other end of the ice, hosts Storm have lost their last three games straight and won just two of their last 10 fixtures. Storm haven’t beaten the Devils at home since January 2020, and have scored no more than one goal against the Devils in each of the last eight games at the Storm Shelter.

Defending Grand Slam Champions Sheffield Steelers host rivals Nottingham Panthers at the Utilita Arena from 7pm and head into the game in an unusual situation. The Steelers have lost two straight games and won just one of their last four in domestic competition. Nottingham picked up two home wins last weekend after a disappointing road showing the week before. As has been well documented, the Panthers are without a win in Sheffield since November 2021, but have taken the past two games there past 60 minutes.

In the Challenge Cup, Glasgow Clan round out their campaign against Fife Flyers. The visitors have already been eliminated from the competition, but are trying to end a three-game loss streak and improve on a run of just one win in 16 games. Clan will play in the Elimination Game in January, but where the game takes place is still up for grabs – a win for Clan would give them a good chance of getting that game on home ice, while a loss would make it impossible.
