Guildford Flames moved up to fourth with another road win in Glasgow against the Clan.
The Flames, who have had an excellent record in Braehead since moving to the Elite League, thought they were a goal down in the first period but Travis Ehrhardt's slapshot was washed out after video review for goalie interference. That didn't however stop hundreds of teddy bears being thrown on to the ice!
It was then Guildford who opened the scoring in period two - 3:39 played when Owen Griffiths light the lamp. Just under six minutes later Kruise Reddick doubled the lead, although the Clan got themselves back into things through Nolan LaPorte at 35:58.
The Clan pushed on for an equaliser in the final period but were unable to beat Wouter Peeters on their other 34 shots in the game. Eventually a defensive zone turnover led to Ian Watters putting the result beyond doubt with 2:35 to play.
