A big second period helped Belfast to a home win against Glasgow on Sunday afternoon.

Scott Jacklin's deflection put the Clan ahead only 51 seconds into this game, but that would be the only time they led. David Goodwin levelled at 14:33 as the sides ended the opening period all square.

The game stayed level until just past the halfway mark when Brian Ward lit the lamp at 31:38, and only 47 seconds later Liam Morgan put the hosts into a 3-1 lead. Bobby Farnham converted on Liam Reddox's feed at 36:20 to make it four, and things for worst for the visitors who were 5-1 down three seconds from the end of the period as Goodwin got his second of the game.

Clan put Jordan McLaughlin in net for the final period and the youngster held out until 51:44 when Jordan Smotherman's shot went high into the net. That was the final goal of the game, the Giants getting a win to take them on to 30 points and level second overall.
