A four-game Saturday night awaits us in Week 15 of the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League season.
League leaders Cardiff Devils host Manchester Storm at the Vindico Arena, heading into the weekend with a five-point lead at the top of the standings. The Devils have played two more games than the pair of sides chasing them, but know that Belfast and Sheffield will face each other on Sunday. Cardiff narrowly stayed alive in the Challenge Cup midweek in Coventry, but got the regulation win they needed – that coming off the back of a one-point weekend. Manchester continue life with Mike Morin as interim head coach follow Mike Flanagan’s departure.

Coventry Blaze play a rare Saturday home game with the first visit of the season of Dundee Stars to the Skydome. The teams have met twice in Dundee already this season, with both games going beyond 60 minutes and a win each. The Blaze are winless in three in all competitions, while Dundee have not won in five games.

It’s a big weekend for both Sheffield Steelers and Glasgow Clan when they meet at the Utilita Arena. The Steelers, who thrashed Guildford Flames midweek, will travel to Belfast on Sunday in a crucial game between the teams in second and third. Sheffield have won three in a row since losing both games two weekends ago. Glasgow head to Yorkshire having won four straight in a run of home games, results which have moved them up towards the top six. Sheffield beat Glasgow 6-3 in the only meeting between the teams so far this season.

It will be a special evening in Nottingham where the Panthers will retire the number 47 jersey in memory of Adam Johnson. The game will begin at 7:30pm with the retirement ceremony beginning an hour earlier. On the ice, the Panthers find themselves no level with the top five, while Fife are four points adrift at the foot of the table.
