Standards Committee defers suspension for Flyers' Foss

Decision of the EIHL Standards Commitee

The Elite League Standards Committee has agreed to defer the one-game suspension given to Fife Flyers' Ryan Foss by the Department of Player Safety (DOPS) following Game 96 on Sunday 15 December 2024, in order to ensure that the Fife Flyers are not at risk of falling below minimum bench strength over the Christmas period.

The decision was agreed by the four teams on the committee, and also included the agreement of the Belfast Giants whom the Flyers play twice this weekend. The results of these games may not be appealed and overturned at a later date because of the decision taken.

Ryan Foss is therefore eligible to ice on Saturday night in Fife, and a further decision on his suspension will be taken in January.
