Firday: Week 19's games begin!

It's Week 19 of 31 in the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League season, and after a week of rest for everyone around the league, we're set to start the weekend's games.
Friday night sees Nottingham Panthers in Belfast for a double-header, in what is also a 3-in-3 on the road for the Panthers. They'll face the Giants again on Saturday night before heading to Dundee on Sunday. The second-placed Giants are two places and four points above the Panthers in the standings, with both teams playing their 27th game the season - the halfway point of league fixtures. Both are very much still in the title race, and this weekend's meetings could go a long way to deciding who stays in it.

Glasgow Clan play the first of two home games in consecutive nights with the visit of league leaders Cardiff Devils on Friday. 24 hours later, they'll welcome Guildford Flames to Braehead Arena, but tonight are looking for their first home win over the Devils since January 2023. Clan won the last meeting between the teams in Cardiff back in November.
