Week 22: Tight battles across the league

Week 21 has 10 games spread across five games with midweek action to keep us busy as well.

The battle for fifth place, and for keeping up with the top four, continues in Coventry on Wednesday night in the week's first game. Coventry Blaze host Guildford Flames with only a win between the teams. The Blaze are three points off the top four, with the Flames a further two points back.

With no Friday games this week, the weekend's action gets going on Saturday night. League leaders Belfast Giants are in Scotland for two games, starting in Fife on Saturday. Second-placed Cardiff Devils, who were top for most of the season, welcome Nottingham Panthers to the Vindico Arena with the visitors heading into the weekend third and only a point behind. Dundee Stars continue their push for the playoffs with the visitor of Guildford, while Sheffield Steelers are also north of the border in Dundee. Manchester host Coventry to round out the day's schedule.

Cardiff's weekend continues with a. trip to Sheffield on Sunday as they try to stay second, while leaders Belfast head into Dundee. Glasgow play home again as Manchester head up to Scotland, while in Coventry the Blaze will have Fife Flyers visiting.
