Week 25 of the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League season comes to a close with four games across Sunday afternoon.

Nottingham Panthers are home for the second time this week, hoping to keep up the pressure in third with the visit of playoff-chasing Manchester Storm. Head coach Danny Stewart admitted his Panthers side were fortunate to get out of Sheffield with a point on Saturday night, while Storm took a home win over Fife to move to within seven points of the top eight. Both teams will be playing their third game in five nights when things faceoff at 4pm.

Glasgow Clan, who let a three-goal lead slip before going down to Coventry Blaze in a shootout on Saturday night, head to basement side Fife Flyers in a Scottish derby from 5.15pm. Clan are 11 points clear in a playoff place and now look to be more or less guaranteed of making the post-season - something they failed to do last year. Fife were beaten in Manchester on Saturday and remain 28 points off the playoffs with only 15 games to go.

In Coventry, the Blaze are back on home ice after an excellent shootout win in Glasgow which took them to within a point of the top four. Playing their game in hand on Cardiff Devils tonight, the Blaze could end the night fourth with a win of any kind - a loss, and Guildford winning, could however see them end the week sixth. Dundee were beaten by the Flames on Saturday but remain seven points clear of falling out of the playoffs. This game features two of the league's three best penalty kills, while the Blaze are the EIHL's hottest powerplay team shooting at over 26%.

Finally in Guildford, the Flames entertain Sheffield Steelers from 6pm in the day's final game. This is the Flames second straight home fixture against the Steelers after a defeat last Saturday, splitting the series between the teams at the Spectrum so far with a win each. Sheffield needed another late show to eventually beat Nottingham Panthers in a shootout yesterday to stay six points behind leaders Belfast. This fixture is probably 'must win' for them to stay four points behind with 14 games to go.
