Belfast Giants and Cardiff Devils found out the exact details of the 2025 Challenge Cup Final earlier this week, but are back to league action on Friday as they head on the road.

League leaders Belfast are in Manchester to start a their weekend fixtures. They've been to the Storm Shelter twice this season, and have scored seven goals on each visit for a pair of wins. The Giants have also beaten Storm twice at home this season to give them a 4-0-0 record so far this season. Manchester are nine points off a playoff place with two games in hand; while the Giants are looking to extend their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

Cardiff Devils are in Glasgow just two days after beating Sheffield Steelers at the Vindico Arena. That result pulled the Devils back to within five points of the top three with a game in hand, but more importantly opened up a three-point gap on falling to fifth. Clan are 11 points clear in a playoff place, and could be within a win of the top six if they win their games in hand. Cardiff have won all four meetings between the teams this season.
