31 of 270 - that's how many games are remaining in the 2024/25 Elite Ice Hockey League Season. We're now 89% of the way through the season, and we still don't know who's winning the league, or who's getting the last playoff place.
There are 10 games in Week 29 of the season, starting on Wednesday night in Nottingham with the Panthers hosting Cardiff Devils. If the Panthers are serious title contenders this season, they'll need to beat the Challenge Cup runners-up - a win would move them into second and just a point behind the leaders, though with more games played.
The Devils are on home ice on Friday night in what might be the biggest game of the season so far. It's a repeat of the Challenge Cup final with Belfast the visitors, and the league-leading Giants having beaten the fourth-placed Devils in every game so far this season. Can they make it 7/7? We'll have to wait and see.
Elsewhere on Friday, second-placed Sheffield Steelers are in Glasgow. Clan beat leaders Belfast in overtime on Sunday and are the league's best team over the last 15 games. They've beaten all of the top four this season, but haven't yet managed a home win over the Steelers.
Clan are back at home just 24 hours later when third-placed Nottingham Panthers visit Braehead, while Sheffield return home to face Manchester. Elsewhere in Scotland, Dundee Stars host Coventry Blaze and Fife Flyers take on Guildford Flames.
Week 29 is rounded out by Belfast returning to the SSE Arena to take oo Guildford as the Flames spend the weekend on the road. Cardiff are in action for the third time when they travel to Manchester, while Coventry have the week's final home game against Fife.
