Fans opt for Giants in league title race

With just three weeks to go in the regulation season, we've been asking fans on our social media pages who they think will win the 2024/25 league title.

And the results are in!

On both Instagram and and X, our fans think that this season's title is going to the Belfast Giants. The Giants received 44% of the Instagram votes, and 41.5% of the X vote.

Fans also think the order of the top three will be different come the end of the season, too. Both platforms have Nottingham Panthers, who currently sit third, coming second by the end of the regulation season. That leaves Sheffield Steelers third.

As a reminder, the pre-season fan prediction had the Steelers winning the league with Belfast finishing second. Nottingham were predicted to finish fifth.

Both the Giants and Steelers are in action on Friday night as both head on the road. We'll be one game closer to knowing where the league title will be going by 10.30pm on Friday night.
