Giants Take Back Top Spot
Two Weeks Remain In Regular Season
The Belfast Giants regained first place in the Elite League standings, thanks to Sunday's emphatic 5-2 home win against the Guildford Flames.
Four goals inside 10 minutes during the second period did the damage as the Giants move back into first place. That followed Sheffield jumping to the top on Saturday with their 4-1 home win over Manchester.
With two weeks remaining, only two points separate the top three teams in the standings.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Manchester Storm continued their playoff push with an impressive 6-0 win at home over Cardiff.
Finally, Coventry completed a four point weekend with a 7-2 home win against the Fife Flyers.
