Tonight: Clan head to Belfast

Belfast Giants welcome Glasgow Clan to the SSE Arena in Belfast for the only game of Friday night.

Results on Thursday did not change either team's overall league position, although Belfast are now joined on 32 points by Nottingham and Clan have fallen three points behind Coventry in sixth.

In truth, this is a clash between two sides who would both hope to be higher come the end of the season than they are now. Belfast, despite needing to make mid-season changes after disappointing results, are still third - six points off top spot with three games in hand; Glasgow meanwhile have slipped to seventh after a bad run of results.

"The Glasgow home and home has become a tradition and one that's very fun for the fans. We're looking forward to it after having some time to shut out hockey brains off over Christmas." - Adam Keefe (Head Coach, Belfast Giants)

"We have to find a way to get back on track. Everyone in our room is a competitor and is working hard to get to where we want to be." - Zack Fitzgerald (Head Coach, Glasgow Clan)
