Glasgow Clan snapped a seven-game winless run in the league thanks to a convincing home win over Fife on New Year's Eve - the Flyers' negative series extends to four games.
Craig Peacock opened the scoring in Braehead with 9:25 gone but it was a level game after the first thanks to James Living tipping Danick Gauthier's shot past Patrick Killeen with 1:59 left in the period.
Three goals in five minutes swung the game back into the Clan's favour during the middle session, started by Mathieu Roy managed to beat Adam Morrison from a tight angle with 26:34 gone. Good work from Mac Howlett to turn the puck over in the offensive zone eventually allowed Matt Hewwood to extend the lead to 3-1, and at 31:32 the Clan were in control through Roy again.
Nolan LaPorte's finish from Scott Jacklin's perfect feed rounded off the game's scoring with 4:20 left.
