Glasgow Clan have confirmed that forward Scott Jacklin has left the club with immediate effect and will head home for family reasons.
The Canadian joined the Clan in late November as injury cover on a one-month try-out basis. Clan Head Coach Zack Fitzgerald commented: “I just want to thank Scott for his time here. He was a great addition to the team and brought another dynamic to our game. When he joined we were really struggling with injuries and sickness in the camp, he jumped straight in, worked hard for us and played well in every position he was asked to. It’s disappointing to see him leave, but I completely respect his decision."
The IIHF transfer deadline for this season is on 15 February.
