Flyers end losing streak in derby win

Fife Flyers ended their longest losing streak in the Elite League thanks to a three-goal home victory over local rivals Dundee Stars.
Kyle Just scored the game;'s opening goal at 15:16 but Dundee were level just shy of two minutes later through Elgis Kalns. Chase Schaber put the home side back ahead at 32:35 on the powerplay, and then extended their lead to 3-1 with five minutes to go converting shorthanded. Paul Crowder's empty-net finish sealed the points with 11 seconds remaining.
The win for Fife closes the gap behind Dundee to five points, while they trail the playoffs by six.
