Bentivoglio calls time on career

Cardiff Devils forward Sean Bentivoglio announced on Thursday afternoon that he is retiring from professional ice hockey.
The 34-year-old made his statement on Twitter after four seasons in Cardiff. For the Devils, the Canadian/Italian put up two 50-point seasons and totalled 216 points in 256 games. He arrived in Wales after five years with Asiago and a year in the DEL.
