Emmerdahl completes Flyers roster

Swedish d-man join Fife as final signing

Swedish defenseman Jonas Emmerdahl has completed Fife’s roster for this coming season.

The 27-year-old has played all of his professional career in his homeland, and all at Allsvenskan level. He’s spent the past four seasons with IF Björklöven, but in total has clocked up 343 in the country’s second tier – scoring 14 goals and assisting on 60 others.

“Jonas completes our line up and solidifies the defence we will have playing in front of Adam this season,” said Head Coach Todd Dutiaume. “He moves well for a big man and adds to the size we have put in place this season. One of our latest ever signings but I’m sure people will feel it was worth the wait and help me welcome Jonas to Fife.”
