The Nottingham Panthers have signed Finnish forward Simon Suoranta for season 2021/22.
The 29-year-old has played his entire career in his homeland and has clocked up more than 360 games in the country's top flight.
Suoranta forward was a back-to-back Liiga champion in 2014 and 2015 with Käpät Oulu, and has 56 goals and assists over his 10-year career.
"Simon's a very very good hockey player, and we think bringing him to the UK will give him a chance to shine and what he can do," said DIrector of Hockey Gui Doucet.
"He brings a ton of experience having played for some big clubs and in the Champions League. He's a good shooter and knows where the net is, and putting him out on the powerplay we think he'll be a great addition to our team. The fact that he's played in Finland for as long as he has shows what he's made of."
