Forward Owen Griffiths will be back with the Guildford Flames for 2021/22.
The Brit was drafted by the Nottingham Panthers for the 2021 Elite Series and impressed in gold, notching four assists but being moved up to the top line for the latter part of the team's run to the playoff title.
The Cardiff-born forward made his Elite League debut with the MK Lightning in 2018 and scored 16 points over 59 regular-season games. He followed that up with eight for the Flames in 45 matches until the 2019/20 season was cut short.
"Owen came in here and fell into his role perfectly," explained Head Coach Paul Dixon. "He works hard, plays a responsible game all over the ice, and had an excellent season for us before it was closed down.
"He has just turned 25 so he is still relatively young and in speaking with him we know he has kept up a real desire to continue enhancing his impact on the team. We are thrilled to be finally getting moving again, we are pleased to have Owen back in the lineup."
