Levi Cable is the next addition to the Guildford Flames roster for 2021/22.
The 5'"11 winger will make his European debut with the Flames after spending his entire career to date in Canada.
26-year-old Cable spent four seasons in the WHL before beginning school at the University of Saskatchewan. Over four USports seasons, he played in 140 regular season games and scored 115 points - 51 of them goals. He was also 14 + 5 in 22 playoff appearances and named to the 2017 All-Tournament Team.
"Levi was another guy who was meant to start with us last season had we gone ahead," explained Head Coach Paul Dixon. "When we got back in touch, he was very excited to be able to get the chance to join us and so were we."
"A couple of seasons back I was at the national championships to look at some guys, and Levi was a memorable player. He is a physically strong player. He can skate, he can handle the puck sensibly and he is able to be an offensive contributor.
"Although he had graduated, he was able to spend some ice-time skating with his old team last season while they continued to train during the pandemic shut down so we expect at his age it will not take too long to feel good being back in a competitive situation."
